Burger King opens second location at Giftland Mall

first_imgCorum Group, the company which owns and operates Pizza Hut, on Wednesday officially opened its second location of Burger King in the Giftland Mall, as it announced plans to open a third by the end of this year.The Group’s Vice President, Navin Singh, said the response has been phenomenal since the opening of the first branch at the Regent Street location.“It has been 19 days since we had the launching of Burger King in Guyana and we have seen a tremendous response from the public so we decided that we are going to make our services available to our customers at the Giftland location and will be anticipating another location somewhere out of Georgetown in the coming months,” Singh noted.Navin Singh places a Burger King crown on one of the first 50 customers at the launching of the new Giftland locationThe Burger King brand will offer a diversified product with chicken and dessert options.It will also include a kid’s meal and attractive value meals. The unique flame grilled process is pivotal to Burger King’s great taste.This second restaurant will see the creation of positions for at least 30 employees and each additional restaurant will employ around the same number.The group said it is proud to be doing its part in creating employment opportunities for Guyanese, as well as friendly and safe dining options for Guyanese consumers. MAN APPEARS IN COURT CHARGED WITH RAPE

first_imgA man has appeared in court charged with rape.Letterkenny Court.The man, who cannot be named, appeared at Letterkenny District Court this morning.
